Service Special Collections
Manuscripts, autographs, estates, incunabula, maps and other rare and valuable holdings of the special collections may only be used in the so-called manuscript reading room and are subject to special conditions of use. Prior registration is required.
You can order items that are not yet listed online by means of a white order form or by request via e-mail, telephone or letter in the manuscript reading room. The materials are made available the following day. Basic reference works such as introductions, reference books, catalogues, bibliographies, facsimiles and current journals are available in a reference library. The production of reproductions depends on the conservation conditions of the original and must be approved on a case-by-case basis. Please contact the relevant special collection advisers.
