| Contents: | IndexCat ist die Datenbankversion des Index-Catalogue of the Library of the Surgeons General Office, 1880-1961. Es enthält Literatur aus der Zeit von ca. 1400 bis 1950. Fachgebiete: Medizin und Randgebiete (basic sciences, scientific research, military medicine, public health, hospital administration). Es werden alle Arten von Literatur verzeichnet: Bücher, Zeitschriftenaufsätze, Dissertationen, Zeitungsartikel ... Die Suche ist sowohl nach Verfassern als auch sachlich über Schlagworte (subject headings) möglich. Mit 3,7 Millionen Titeln werden schätzungsweise 40% der Literatur aus dem Zeitraum vor 1950 erfasst. |
